Because only a fraction of your skin is directly treated with the laser, the surrounding untreated tissue promotes rapid healing. The skin’s wound healing response creates new collagen, which adds firmness and resilience to the skin.
The treatment involves only minimal downtime. Clients can expect 3 to 5 days to completely heal after a superficial ProFractional treatment. With deeper ProFractional services, swelling can last for 3 to 4 days with complete healing in about 5 to 7 days.
