The Foundation Program for novice injectors includes Virtual Courses and Hands-on
Training with an experienced Clinical Instructor. The program is designed to meet the educational and technical skills required to become a knowledgeable and safe medical aesthetic provider.
We offer continuing guidance and professional advice for participants as they advance along a career path in aesthetic medicine.
After completion of the Foundation Program, participants will have an understanding of facial anatomy as it relates to treatment danger zones, product knowledge, and safe injection techniques.

Course 1
Facial Anatomy for Aesthetic Medicine

It is imperative that aesthetic providers understand the importance of facial anatomy when providing medical aesthetics treatments and non-surgical procedures. Visualizing the anatomy will help to decrease the risk of complications and improve patient outcomes.

Hyaluronic Acid is naturally present in the dermis and is responsible for maintaining tissue hydration. Modifying the HA creates a product that when injected will provide structure and volume. For proper patient treatment, the aesthetic provider must understand the mechanism of action, indications and contraindications.

Hands-on Training
8 hrs
The attendee will do the medical history, facial assessment, treatment plan, consents, photography, treatment preparation and discharge instructions.
