Meet Maggie, Licensed Aesthetician
Maggie obtained her aesthetics license in 2000 and thoughtfully chose to start her career at a medical spa in downtown Chicago, where she focused on medical aesthetics and clinical skin care. There, she provided her clientele with advanced, custom facials and waxing services. Following her laser certification more than a decade ago, Maggie now has more than 15 years of experience providing laser hair removal, photofacials (IPL/BBL), laser resurfacing, chemical peels, and ThermiSmooth® face and body contouring. She is also one of our primary CoolSculpting® providers. Maggie has continued her education throughout the years with numerous certifications and advanced seminars and is a true expert in the industry. She is also actively working on completing her education to become a registered nurse. Her loyal clients rely on her for customized skin care and laser services tailored to their specific needs. Maggie loves creating lasting relationships with her clients and enjoys seeing results after each treatment. All of her clinical and personal qualities make her a great fit for ReFresh and the clients we care for. On a personal note, Maggie is married, has a young daughter, and lives right here in Whitefish Bay. She enjoys spending time with family and friends (especially her ReFresh family). She loves the outdoors, and staying active.
Caitlin Catarozoli, L.E., Certified Makeup Artist
Meet Caitlin, Licensed Aesthetician and Certified Makeup Artist
Caitlin attained an associate of arts degree in fashion merchandising and worked as a brand ambassador focused on sales and promotions. Her interest in fashion and makeup led her to become a fashion show and event coordinator with various Milwaukee and Chicago-based companies since 2010. Caitlin also works as a freelance makeup artist, having had the opportunity to work at New York’s prestigious Fashion Week since 2010. In addition to providing makeup artistry throughout the United States, she has traveled to Europe, working with top models and fashion magazines. Caitlin has always had a passion for aesthetics. She graduated from Vici Aveda Institute with her certification and licensure in esthiology. She has further certifications in microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, and chemical peels from the Mequon Thiensville School of Esthetics, along with a certification in TEMPTU airbrush makeup. Caitlin brings to ReFresh a variety of skill sets, which enable her to assist clients in many areas of our center: clinical skincare products and procedures, micro needling (SkinPen®), and ThermiSmooth® face and body contouring. On a personal note, Caitlin loves spending time with her husband, Kevin, and her daughter, Leighton. She enjoys travel, experiencing different cultures, spending time outdoors, and researching new aesthetic trends.
Lizzy Burkwald, L.E.
Meet Lizzy, Licensed Aesthetician
Lizzy’s medical aesthetics experience began within a large medical dermatology practice, where she worked for three years with board-certified dermatologists well respected by our ReFresh Team. She is certified and experienced in working with various laser and light modalities, along with microneedling, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, chemical peels, and medically directed skincare lines. Lizzy is also a board member of the Master Aesthetics Advisory Committee for WCTC. Additionally, she is Skinny on Skin Certified (through Impact Melanoma – a program aimed to educate on screening for suspicious moles while performing aesthetic services). We knew Lizzy was the right fit for ReFresh, as she aims to reflect The Golden Rule in all areas of life. She professionally describes her philosophy as the “Golden Rule of Practice; treating others as you want to be treated.” Lizzy not only practices as one of our licensed aestheticians providing an array of skincare and laser services, she also works alongside our Clinical Director, Dawn. We know you will love Lizzy’s compassion for her clients, enthusiastic personality, and passion for the field of medical aesthetics! On a personal note, Lizzy is a dog mom to her Shiba Inu, Paisley. She and Paisley are certified through Pet Partners as a Therapy Animal Team. Lizzy loves spending time on the lake with family and friends, coaching ULS Girls Varsity Field Hockey, and horseback riding.
